Farfelle with Carbonara and Spring Peas ♥ Jamie Oliver

圣诞节嘛~总要来点不一样的~
今天可说是心血来潮就跑到Cold Storage去买点材料

打算大显身手一番


在很久很久之前就已经做过这道料理
尝过之后还觉得蛮好吃的
所以,这次决定把它介绍给大家


Farfelle with Carbonara and Spring Peas 

Ingredients

455 g farfalle
1 free-range egg
100 ml double cream
sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
12 rashers higher-welfare pancetta or smoked streaky bacon
3 handfuls fresh podded or frozen peas
2 sprigs fresh mint, leaves picked
2 handfuls Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Method

1. First of all, bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, add the farfalle, and cook according to the packet instructions. 

2. Whisk the egg in a bowl with the cream, salt and pepper. 



还有,我实在是搞不清楚double cream是什么来着
所以,用着Cooking Cream代替也行~



如果家里没有现磨的黑胡椒粒
建议这牌子的黑胡椒香味还蛮不错的~

3. Put your pancetta or bacon into a second pan and cook until crispy and golden.


这一次,我把Smoked Streaky Bacon 换成Smoked Chicken Brest…
味道口感都变得不一样了
鸡肉本身的肉质会比猪肉来的松软
我还是比较推荐Smoked Bacon的口感啦~
吃起来口感脆脆的大爱!


因为鸡肉本身的油脂分布没有很多
所以我会建议放少许的橄榄油热锅
【不需要太热,免得把橄榄油的营养流失掉

4. When the farfalle is nearly cooked, add the peas for the last minute and a half. 
This way they will burst in your mouth and be lovely and sweet. 


这是500g包装的青豆
3 handfuls 的用量大概是250g左右
这煮法的青豆实在是太好吃了~
我最讨厌就是吃青豆了
可是根据了Jamie Oliver的煮法
让我对青豆的印象完全改变了
青豆的口感真的是太鲜嫩了~
赞!

5. When cooked, drain in a colander, saving a little of the cooking water. 

6. Add the pasta to the pancetta and stir in most of the mint, finely sliced -

【可惜的是当时Cold Storage没有卖Mint…
因为加了Mint,食物的味道会变得没那么的腻
而且,吃起来,食物的味道也会比较清新…】

if the pan isn't big enough, mix it all together in a large warmed bowl.


7. Now you need to add the egg and cream mix to the pasta. 

【What's important here is that you add it while the pasta is still hot. 
This way, the residual heat of the pasta will cook the eggs, 
but not so that they resemble scrambled eggs.】

 The pasta will actually cook the egg enough to give you a silky smooth sauce. 

8. Toss together and loosen with a little of the reserved cooking water if necessary. 

9. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with the Parmesan and the rest of the mint leaves, 
and serve as soon as possible.


Kraft 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese

最后步骤就是在pasta上撒上Parmeson cheese…
而且最好是趁热吃超级好吃!超级大爱!
